Lindsay brings to Sofrito over 15 years of experience in the advertising, design and branding industries. She guides the team with her ability to translate business strategy into exceptional visual communication and excels in distilling complex information, developing smart concepts and bringing them to life. An energetic idea-generator, Lindsay loves to brainstorm with clients, and she’s known to ask probing questions that lead projects down inspiring paths.
Lindsay began her career as a product designer for a division of Seiko Instruments, designing Perry Ellis and Penguin watches. She eventually moved her focus to the mass market side, where she began designing for Barbie and Disney. While working for Disney, Lindsay developed the marketing initiative to resurrect “all-time favorite” Disney watches.
As she led the research and marketing for the project, Lindsay realized that designing marketing and advertising materials—instead of watches—was her true passion. Since that time, Lindsay has served as a contractor and art director for agencies including Sicola Martin and 97 Degrees West.
An alumnus of Texas Tech University (B.F.A.), Lindsay studied communication design with a minor in photography. She is the recipient of the highly coveted Print Regional Design Annual Award and her artwork has been featured by the AIGA Texas Show.
